Dr. Lauren Helm is the founder of Rise Psychology, and is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in treating various anxiety disorders, perfectionism, executive functioning issues, burnout, relationship concerns, and more. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy (IBCT), and other evidence-based treatments.


3. How can I schedule an appointment?

New clients can schedule a complimentary 25 minute phone consultation via the secure online scheduling portal. Current clients can log into the Client Portal to manage appointments.


4. What insurance plans are accepted?

Dr. Lauren Helm accepts insurance for individual therapy, including Lyra Health and Aetna. Out-of-network benefits and private pay options are also available. For couples therapy, private pay is accepted (in-network insurance and out-of-network insurance billing not available).


5. What should I expect during therapy sessions?

Therapy sessions are personalized and focus on exploring experiences, gaining insights, and using practical exercises to enhance skills such as mindfulness, self-compassion, relationship skills, and emotion regulation.

    • Engage in personalized therapy sessions using evidence-based treatments based on your needs. Sessions are conducted online via HIPAA-compliant video conferencing.
